Reinstatement Claims and Job Security
Where an employee covered by the job security provisions of Labour Law No. 4857 is dismissed without a valid reason, we assist with mandatory mediation and court proceedings seeking a declaration that the dismissal is invalid and the employee’s reinstatement. We also provide legal support for claims concerning compensation where the employer does not reinstate the employee and wages and other entitlements for the statutory period spent out of work.
Employee Claims for Pay and Compensation
Following the termination of an employment contract, we represent employees and employers in claims concerning severance pay, notice pay, overtime pay, weekly rest-day pay, pay for national and public holidays and unused annual leave.
Workplace Accidents and Occupational Diseases
Where inadequate occupational health and safety measures result in a workplace accident or occupational disease causing injury or death, we represent clients in proceedings concerning the assessment of loss of earning capacity, compensation for loss of financial support following a death and claims for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages. We also represent clients in recourse claims brought by the Social Security Institution (SGK).

We provide legal support in cases involving systematic psychological harassment at work, commonly known as mobbing, and practices contrary to the principle of equal treatment under Article 5 of the Labour Law. Our services include advising on termination by the employee for just cause and pursuing claims for discrimination compensation and non-pecuniary damages before the courts.
Employment Contracts and HR Advisory
As part of our preventive legal advice to companies and their Human Resources (HR) departments, we prepare fixed-term and indefinite-term employment contracts, non-compete agreements and confidentiality agreements. We also assist with workplace policies and internal regulations and prepare termination notices, formal warnings and requests for written explanations or defences in accordance with Turkish law.
Mandatory and Voluntary Mediation in Employment Disputes
We represent employees and employers in mandatory mediation proceedings required under the Labour Courts Law No. 7036 before certain employment claims may be brought before a court. We also assist with voluntary mediation and prepare settlement agreements to resolve disputes without litigation where possible.
Employee Rights in Business Transfers, Mergers and Workplace Closures
We advise companies and employees on the treatment of accrued employment rights, the continuation or termination of employment contracts and potential compensation liabilities arising from business transfers, company mergers and the complete closure of a workplace.
Work Permits for Foreign Employees and Cross-Border Employment Disputes
We assist with work permit applications before the competent authorities for foreign nationals who will be employed in Turkey. We also advise on the law applicable to cross-border employment contracts and represent clients in related disputes.
